If that is not sufficient, starting an over-the-counter nasal steroid spray (many different types) can be used. Both the antihistamine and nasal steroid sprays come in generic forms as well. If that does not do the trick, please make an appointment with a board certified allergist. They can do the necessary testing to determine to what she is allergic and can make further recommendations for treatment.
