Hello,

This is in response to the 7-month-old with plagiocephaly. First, your adorable daughter would need to be evaluated in person clinically in order for me to make any assessment. Also, we would recommend the helmet at 4-5 months of age if it was deemed necessary. Usually mild plagiocephaly does not affect mental or physical development.

If your child has any concerning respiratory symptoms - they should be evaluated by a physician ASAP or be seen in the ER.
