Gases being excreted from your body go from their source to your blood stream to your lungs for exit. These gases that produce bad breath can come from foods you ate, medications you are taking or bad habits ( smoking, alcohol abuse, etc.). If you are free of periodontal disease and have a healthy dentition then the source of you bad breath is more systemic and related to the products you are placing in your body.
