Depends on the knee ligament that had surgery on average 6-9 months.

It is possible you have a stress fracture of the base of the fifth metatarsal.

I would delay surgery and treat the shoulder with benzoyl peroxide.

Preventing osteoporosis?

Yes but the most important piece of that is weight-bearing exercise.

Foot pain?

You may have a stress fracture I recommend seeing someone for an evaluation.

Will walking on a sprained knee make it worse?

It depends on how badly it is sprained and in what way. I believe a brace will help you heal and support you while walking.
