Specializing in interventional cardiology, Dr. Mahir D. Elder is experienced in the newest interventional modalities, and has performed many diagnostic cardiac catheterizations including peripheral interventions. Dr. Elder has been published in a plethora of medical journals, and involved in numerous clinical trials for pharmaceutical and medical device companies and currently serves as Associate Clinical Chief of Cardiology and Ambulatory Surgery. Today he is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine and practices cardiology in Michigan at Heart and Vascular Physicians.
