Cupping has a drawing effect on the tissues and muscles. It clears what we call stagnation, and brings about nourishment and healing to the area. Some like it better than massage, because the pressure of a massage may hurt too much, where cupping may not. If there is imbalance we find a way to bring balance back to the body. This is done through acupuncture, diet, herbs and more. Commitment varies. Depends if the symptoms are chronic or just acute.
