As that disc moves over your joint when you open and close, sometimes one can hear a click. As long as it is not bothersome to you, and there is no limitation to opening or closing of your jaw, you do not necessarily have to do anything about it. It can't hurt to have an oral surgeon check your jaw to make sure there are no problems.
