A loose tooth following a run-in with a baseball should be evaluated by a Dentist. It could be loose just because of the force, kind-of stretching the bone of the socket a bit, in which case leaving it alone and staying away from biting into food with it will help it to tighten back up on its own. Sometimes making a “splint” to the adjacent teeth can help to tighten things back up as well. Unfortunately, a loose tooth could also mean that it was broken.
