Depends on the case. Not all cases are the same, and if there is toenail deformity, it must be addressed as it can be a causative factor.

Rolled ankle?

Probably an osteochondral fracture of the talar dome. Usually tested with arthroscopy. Will not heal on its own.

Sounds infected. Could also have dislocated toe. See a specialist.

Looks like trauma to the nail. Should grow out.

Depends on how severe. Can be 6 weeks to 2 years.

Leg pain burning in ankle?

Sounds like poor circulation. Get it tested.

Numbness in leg?

Sounds like a spinal compression or stroke. See a neurosurgeon or neurologist.

What exercises should be avoided after ankle surgery?

Depends on the type and amount of time since surgery. Should be explained by surgeon.

Big trouble for ankle/calf?

Appropriate specialist referrals are indicated. See your primary care provider first.

Is going barefoot good for bunions?

Doesn't really affect them unless you are an overpronater, then it would worsen them.

Swelling/pain?

See an orthopedist for the knee and podiatrist for the ankle.

Ankle pain?

Tarsal tunnel and plantar fascia surgery heal slowly and can take 6 months to one year to heal, longer if you smoke. Would add ankle strengthening exercises.

Can a heel spur go away on its own?

Start calf stretching. The spur won't go away without surgery, but may stop hurting. There are also numerous noon surgical treatments.

Ankle injury?

Have it x-rayed to assess healing first.

What happens if you leave an ingrown toenail untreated?

If it's infected, there can be many problems, however, some people treat uninfected ingrown toenails successfully.

Toenail?

Looks like dried blood. Watch to see if it grows out or falls off. If it doesn't fall off in a month, have it checked.

After surgery?

Could be a cyst. May need further excision. Not uncommon. Get it checked.

Need to be rechecked by surgeon.
