If you have light eyes blue or green they have less pigment and you would be more light sensitive than a brown eye person . If you are on computer a lot you could have dry eye that could make you more sensitive to light . Also there is an eyelid condition called blepharitis that can make you eyes sensitive as well . You could try artificial tears OTC if that doesn’t help seek help from Eyecare professional

Light sensitivity very frequently occurs from dry eyes and other eye conditions. There is no surgical procedure for light sensitivity. If it is due to dry eye sometimes a procedure of placing a plug in eyelids to help tears work better. It should be evaluated by an eye care professional.

Blurred vision in that age group is usually a prescription for glasses. If it is new onset he needs to have full eye exam to make sure there is no other reason for his blurred vision.
