Why? Let Us Jump Right In!

Fiber, the term refers to an assorted group of Plant-Polysaccharides. This refers to carbohydrates in plants; consisting of molecules of multiple simple-sugars bonded together.

The Interesting Thing About Fiber

That it cannot be digested. In human nutrition, cellulose is the non-digestible component of insoluble dietary fiber. Insoluble, referring to how it does not dissolve in water.

Cellulose

Is an organic compound that makes up most of the plant cell outer-wall. It is made by all plants, therefore possibly the most abundant organic compound here on Earth.

Fiber

Contains what is called B-glycosidic bonds; that make the structure resistant to our human digestive enzymes.

The Undigested Fiber Travels

Through the small and large intestine relatively intact; feeding, helping to selectively promote the growth of the Beneficial-Intestinal-Bacteria.

Beneficial-Intestinal-Bacteria

Inhibits the growth of the other disease-causing pathogens. Simply by increasing in their numbers; therefore crowding out those disease-causing pathogens.

Soluble Fiber and Insoluble Fiber

Soluble fiber dissolves, breaking down in water forming a thick gel. Insoluble-Fiber does not dissolve in water.

Fiber Will Actually

Help maintain your ideal weight, reduce the risk of a heart attack, maintain bowel regularity, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels. Reducing risks for diabetes and cancer.
