The Chinese balloon that traveled a long way to mysteriously end up in surveillance range of U.S. classified military installations has been shot down within a 12-mile radius and its contents seized for examination by the U.S. But the shooting mania that was created requires test and comment. Shoot it down cries came from Congress persons like Marjorie Taylor Green, encouraging people to let loose on an object 20 to,60 thousand feet in the air with guns that can fire 100 feet or less. You are sure to kill your neighbor or yourself. It is an exercise in symbolic interaction where emotional instability demands the end of flu and Covid insulation and isolation and the assertive of personal power. The gun, the auto..knives, etc. become utilized.
There are several different manifestations of mood disorder. My children and grandchildren report wealthy parents buying high-speed motorcycles and expensive high-speed automobiles for children who are below driving age. and who would drive illegally or wait a year?
I believe that much of this impatience is the direct effect of the pathogens that assail us and throw us back to primitive and unworkable behaviors that turn us against one another.
