Covid-19 Is Winning The Battle With Mankind

There have been 250,000 deaths and 12 million cases of Covid-19 in the USA. The Biden transition team is being denied access to the current coronavirus task force and in the foot race with death will have to run from a standing start. This is attributable to MOM's (aka POTUS) refusal to accept defeat and his launching of some 30 worthless lawsuits challenging election results. Biden and his transition team estimate that some 125,000 to 250,000 additional lives could be lost as a result of GSA's refusal to allow Biden and his team access to key information including national security briefings. The Trump administration with the help of a McConnell controlled senate and a waiting supreme court is still pushing for the elimination of the ACA or Obamacare, thus depriving 21 million Americans of medical care in the midst of a raging pandemic. The elimination of protections for pre-existing conditions and the elimination of protections for women's reproductive rights are also part of the agenda.

What is really being contested is the purpose of government. Republicanism has gone from a belief in small government to allow entrepreneurship and national defense but still dedicated to the protection of citizens utilizing taxation as a money gatherer to a belief in a huge government lacking good international relations and eschewing the concept of a social net because it allows blacks, browns, women, and new migrants to use funds earned by cowboy-like white males to support their indolence or feminazi strivings. Terms like communist, socialist, fascist are being tossed about to justify attitudes and behavior that will doom Tocquevillean American democracy.

The SARS-CoV-2 virus promotes doom on one hand but on the other hand, may be our last chance to reasonably approach the idea of world government. The world has depended since the Marshall plan on USA leadership, but we are now a debtor nation proposing withdrawal from NATO and engaging in troop movements and withdrawals to suit an election promise while selling 50 billion dollars worth of F35 fighter bombers to a UAE that may use them to further unbalance the Middle East. A Trump percentage is likely a part of the picture as is a smaller Kushner (son-in-law) rake in. With the free press accused of promoting fake news and the deliberate flooding of the environment with contradictory information (a Goebel tactic), the true nature of this exploitation of office is not likely to be explored until MOM is out of office.
