As though not being aware of and then calling the reported and substantiated GRU bounty to Taliban fighters for killing American and coalition troops a hoax we're not enough, MOM is now attempting to cut off federal education money to schools that obey restrictive common sense (CDC included) rules to blunt the rapier thrusts of SARS-CoV- 2. Nevermind the reality that teachers lack PPE and training and it is now known that the young are vulnerable and far from impervious to the illness. I conclude that this is part of an attempt to deny that America is not fully open to business. In this Betsy De Vos (Education Secretary) who knows little and couldn't care less about the welfare and education of children is a willing ally.
The assault continues to the college level where fines and fund withdrawal are threatened if online education instead of on-campus classwork is authorized. Exchange students are threatened with deportation should their accepting colleges not require physical attendance. It is clear that the message is that the pandemic is a hoax, at the same time it is fully controlled and disappearing (a disappearing hoax). If you can block mail-in voting, force at least one parent to be home to address the needs of a child not at home but in a vulnerable school environment, effectively use ballot miscounts and other voter suppression techniques, then the gerrymandered districts might turn out enough Republican votes to challenge the electoral results and use of the militias (God Help Us!) unnecessary.
Of course, the pandemic is not a hoax and the abandonment of the population of the country to uncoordinated state efforts using redacted and altered CDC guidelines is resulting in largorithmic progression of infection and death. A very unstable non-genius is destroying the American experience and experiment in front of our lying eyes and ears.
