This is a very large because there are so many variables... depending on your present oral conditions, habits, age as well as the type of whitening you are requesting. I can give you some generalizations. For in office bleaching -4 sessions initially with 1 session yearly thereafter. Take Home whitening kits 2 weeks of bleaching initially with 1 hour touch ups monthly thereafter. Whitening strips I would advise to follow the take home protocol. Hope this helps. If you are not getting the results you desire from bleaching you may be a candidate for veneers in order to get the tooth color you desire.
