This is a great question and the answer is yes! Adjustments of the extremities are designed to encourage proper alignment and space in the joint, in this case the wrist joint. In carpal tunnel syndrome, you typically have a lot of compressive forces putting stress on the joint causing progressive pain. That's a great question, thanks for asking. There are quite a few possibilities for the cause of consistent low back pain. My first suggestion has to be for you to see a chiropractor or healthcare provider to find out the cause of the pain via exams, special tests and/or imaging if necessary. If you're not sure about that route the next best thing would be for you to keep a journal about your low back pain pinpointing all the things that affect you daily from waking up to laying back down. Once you do that you can investigate for yourself the causes (and solutions) for your pain. Personally, I'd do both!
Hopefully this helps.

Hey! Thanks for the question.

There are quite a few things that could cause someone to have a stiff neck, but if there isn't any trauma or pre-existing conditions, I would first consider sleeping position or recurrent work/repetitive stress habits to be the cause of awakening with a stiff neck. Seeing a chiropractor or your primary care doctor would give you the best bet of finding a cause for that pain. Hopefully this helps.

Great question! Herniated discs are common problems that we see in the office. Believe it or not, a lot of people are walking around with varying degrees of disc herniation. This diagnosis becomes symptomatic when the "gel" portion of the disc begins to push through the fibers containing it. The pressure on the fibers continues to build until eventually tearing may occur and in extreme cases, result in that disc "gel" spilling into important structures housed by your spinal canal. This doesn't happen in all cases, but it's what you'd consider the worst case scenario when it comes to untreated disc herniation. Hopefully this provides a little clarity.
