Dr. Yvette Mignon

Internist

Dr. Yvette Mignon is a primary care physician, an internist, and a pediatrician practicing in Tallahassee, FL. Dr. Mignon specializes in comprehensive health care for people of all ages. In addition to diagnosing and treating illnesses, family practitioners also focus on preventative care with routine checkups, tests, and personalized coaching on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Mignon possesses immense general knowledge on maintaining health and today, family practitioners provide more care for the underserved and rural populations than any other medical specialty.

Dr. Mignon has a unique style, a truly comprehensive and compassionate approach to caring for families from throughout the life cycle and addressing the integration of a mind-body-spirit approach to one's overall health. Her practice has evolved to include an integrated care model and is a patient-centered medical home. As a part of the practice, there is Impact Behavioral Health, a mental health and behavioral health practice. She has provided medically assisted treatment (MAT) for alcohol and opioid use disorder (AUD/OUD) before MAT was a commonly used term.

As a component of her multifaceted practice, she has opened Freedom Recovery Services which provides transitional sober living accommodations along with structured job assistance and other needs for the residents. When asked why she does what she does for her patients she answers "It's because I want them to have the best life possible and I believe in them".  The motto of my office is "BECAUSE EVERYONE MATTERS". The patient physician relationship that develops over time is good for my spirit too.
