As an ocular electrophysiology coordinator, I have helped propel the University of Iowa to a national reputation in ocular gene therapy and in unique clinical service to children. I have taught orthoptic and medical students, residents, and pediatric ophthalmology fellows, and her expertise makes the UI one of the best orthoptic training programs in the country. I have also assisted in the creation and development of an electrophysiology suite that draws patients from across the nation. My goal to help other be able to offer the same skills in ocular electrophysiology and advanced eyecare to children across the country.
My blog will focus on how to perform eye testing on children as well as providing information on pediatric ophthalmic disorders.
