10 Celebrities with Multiple Sclerosis
10. Anne Rowling – the mother of J.K. Rowling
Although she herself has not been diagnosed with MS, the famous author of the Harry Potter books has been using her fame and power to raise awareness for MS for her mother. She opened the Anne Rowling Clinic to research neurological diseases, in honor of her late mother, who passed away from MS at the age of 45. In 2006, Rowling helped to establish the Multiple Sclerosis Research Centre at the University of Edinburgh.
