Studies have shown that approximately 70 percent of people only snore when sleeping on their backs. When you sleep on your side, your airways are open, so you’re less likely to snore.
When the Sleep Science app senses snoring, it sends a signal to the Sleep Science wearable, which in turn vibrates and signals for you to roll over onto your side.
The wearable is a comfortable, adjustable armband, and the easy-to-use app connects the wearable armband to your smartphone.
Simply place the armband on one arm, download the “Do I Snore or Grind” app, plug your phone into a power source, and set it on the nightstand.
The app will detect both snoring and bruxism, otherwise known as teeth grinding. The app also tracks your sleep data, which can be helpful for monitoring your progress and sharing relevant information with your doctor.
