10-Year-Old Makes His Own Hot Sauce to Raise Money for Muscular Dystrophy

"Illimeinati", "Lava de Los Muertos", and "Snake Charmer" are just a few of his hot sauces

When developing his first sauce, Connor wanted to come up a catchy name that also sounded “cool.” He experimented with the word “Illuminati,” which is the well-known name of a secret society in comic books and video games. Since his first sauce had a mildly spicy citrus touch, he named it “Illimeinati” as a play-on-words. This product has a smoky citrusy kick, with a brief wave of heat, according to its description on the business’ website. Other products included the “Snake Charmer,” a mild sauce made with roasted tomatillos, jalapeños, and onions, with madras curry and “Lava de Los Muertos,” a very intense hot sauce made with ghost peppers and Vidalia onions.
