6. Muhammad Ali

The infamous boxer, Muhammad Ali is on the list due to his fascinations with cryogenics in the 1980’s. It was even said that in 1988 he visited a cryonics lab at UC Berkeley. So, was he frozen? It is still up to speculation, but some believe he was, especially since he happened to be in Phoenix, Arizona when he faced his final days. Why does Phoenix matter? Well, the Alcor: The Life Extension Foundation relocated to Scottsdale, a section of Greater Phoenix. Ali did not seem to visit Arizona much during his lifetime, so why else end it there? Rick Potvin, who was a part of Ted Willams cryonic process (see number 9), is quite sure that Muhammad Ali is resting in a tank until the world is ready to bring him back in the ring.
