Weigh yourself periodically instead of daily

Our body weight fluctuates a lot through the day and throughout different cycles (one word ladies, hormones). When we step on the scale at random times of the day during random times of the month, we may be shocked at what we see. If you are going to keep track of your weight, consider choosing the same time of day everyday. Or, better yet, ditch the scale all together and base your weight off of how energetic your body is feeling.

You’ll get to notice on more less active days you feel sluggish and want to snack on junk food more. You better believe you’re storing more fat on those days. When you get your body moving you crave healthy food and more movement! Throughout time you’ll learn to listen to your body’s needs more and create a closer relationship to its signals.
