Beloved Star Wars star, actress and author Carrie Fisher’s death came as a shock to her family, friends and fans. Even more devastating was the death of her mother, Debbie Reynolds, just one day later. The coroner found that sleep apnea contributed to the actress' death.
During the flight from London to Los Angeles on the day she died, Fisher's assistant said that she stopped breathing several times. But, some have made claims that though Fisher knew of this issue, she didn't think it was sleep apnea, nor was she actively treating it.
There were other factors in Fisher's death, like her known drug and alcohol use.
