Franklin D. Roosevelt, also known as FDR, was the 32nd president of the United States and he was also the only president in American history to be elected 4 times (Fun fact: He’s the reason why Congress enacted a law that limits a president only to two terms). FDR is famously known for pulling Americans out of the Great Depression through his program and reforms under the New Deal. And, he also led Americans into World War II after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

FDR is also known for his Fireside Chats, which he first started 8 days after taking office. He would give speeches over the radio that would highlight strength and rally American support for the New Deal and World War II.
