7 Marathons, 7 Days, 7 Continents: A Man's Inspiring Way to Raise Money for Parkinson's Disease

The last lap: Bret Parker's victory!

It was dark when Bret started the final lap. Katharine joined him for a bit, but then Bret began to walk the rest of the way on his own. Bret vanished from view and the crowd went silent. Katharine held up a bottle of champagne, and organizers placed victory tape around the finish line.

It wasn't until 10 pm when Bret came into view, with his son Ben next to him. Everyone else had finished the race hours ago, but there were still cheers as Bret crossed the finish line.

He finished this race in 7 hours, 41 minutes and 22 seconds.
