While anger management includes a variety of factors, it's also important to focus on effective verbal and nonverbal communication. The following factors are just a small part of learning more about communicating with others while keeping the interaction positive:

  • Making sure that nonverbal cues “match” with verbal communication
  • Refraining from negative body language, such as avoiding eye contact and crossing arms
