A Patient’s Perspective on Routine Crohn’s Check-ups

For people with inflammatory bowel disease, there is no break from hospital check-ups even if your disease is in remission. Though they happen so regularly, you just never really get used to them. Even the simplest appointments can quickly turn into fear and panic – they can be full of surprises.  

She realized that people with inflammatory bowel disease likely go through a whole buffet of mixed emotions as they go for their regular checkup. She decides to write down these emotions and share her thoughts with the community.
