Can Oral Therapy Replace Insulin In Diabetes for Those with Cystic Fibrosis?

Patients who discontinued treatment

There were some patients in each group that decided to discontinue the treatment before the allotted two years was complete, although the numbers were similar as well. Fourteen people in the repaglinide group discontinued treatment, as well as sixteen in the insulin group. While this information is not exhaustive, as there are many incentives for ceasing treatment, it does imply that repaglinide would be any less "bearable" than insulin for the patient.
