Teen Who Battled Cancer Gives Back to Make-A-Wish
The joy of his new car, and the wonderful experiences to come
With his sweet ride to show off, Eli and his father began going to car shows together. They went on two cross-country trips on a Bandit run, which is a type of traveling car show that covers hundreds of miles, honoring the events of the movie “Smokey and the Bandit.” Eli made many friends along the way, including the Buford impersonator, David Bentz. “I’ve always had the love of cars and stuff since that experience” he said.
“When he got this car the whole car culture bloomed in our family. It’s just amazing to me how much good has come out of that, so many close relationships and supportive people. I’ve been amazed by it” said Eli’s mother, Caroline.
