Hawken Miller was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy at age 6. His parents, Debra and Paul Miller were told by the doctor that there isn't much they could do to prevent the progression of the disease. They decided to take action and established CureDuchenne non profit foundation in 2003.
