Country-Pop Singer RaeLynn Talks About Life with Diabetes

Hiring Jazz and Dolly Parton: Service dogs trained to detect blood sugar drops

To make living with the condition even easier, she decided to get a diabetes service dog two years ago. Contrary to the genre she is best known for, RaeLynn named her German Shepherd Jazz. He not only protects her from dropping to a low blood sugar level, he also provides comfort, support, and companionship to the singer.

RaeLynn was already a fur parent to a chihuahua named after Dolly Parton at the time. She decided to get the second dog to help her out when she is traveling, and this was also around the same time that her husband, Joshua Davis, left to start a career in the military.
