Cystic Fibrosis: Accommodating for College

Final thoughts

For someone with cystic fibrosis, the transition to college life may seem daunting and impossible, but you can make the transition smoother without allowing your cystic fibrosis to get in the way of your academic, social, and personal goals. If you are moving away to school, don't hesitate to reach out to learn more about any accommodations they may offer. If you are not satisfied with what your school is offering, extend to other health centers in the area, and ask your healthcare team for references and personal recommendations.
