Despite Cystic Fibrosis, Professional Triathlete Won 11 Ironman Championships

She has retired from Ironman races, but continues to run and swim

Bentley is retired from the Ironman race series, although she continues to run marathons for fun. She also enjoys swimming and biking on a frequent basis. “My plan for the future is to be healthy enough to keep on doing what I am doing for as long as I can,” she said. This includes her work as a coach for triathlon and skills training camps for other professional athletes, as well as her work as a motivational speaker for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Bentley also continues to promote the greater need for CF research as part of the Cure4CF, which is a Foundation that is committed to making a difference to the lives of individuals living with CF.
