Future ways for early detection
Living with Parkinson's can be difficult, particularly as there is no way to halt the disease once it has been diagnosed. Because there are no warning signs many patients come to regret that they never had the time to do some of the things that they may have wanted to do. One of the secondary effects of Parkinson's is depression, which can stem from feeling robbed of time and opportunity. Early detection can mean that not only do patients have time to do at the very least some of the things that they’ve always wanted to, it also means being given time to make peace or prepare for a disease that is very life changing.
