Options for patients are increasing
It can be confusing for both patients and providers when it comes to choosing medication therapy for IBD. There are so many options, and so much variety among patients, their symptoms, and overall unique situations, that it can be hard to know where to start. On the up side, more medications are constantly being developed, and this gives patients and providers options. When something is ineffective, or a patient responds poorly to one medication, there is still hope that another option will work well.
