Healthy fats are important to alleviate symptoms

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society points out that there is some evidence that diets low in saturated fats and supplemented by Omega-3 (which can come from fatty fishes, flaxseed oil, or cod-liver oil) and Omega-6 (coming from fatty acids in sunflower or safflower seed oil) can have benefits in alleviating symptoms and fighting progression of the disease.
