In 2013, the band began the extended ‘History of The Eagles Tour’. The same year, a documentary that explored the iconic rock band’s colorful history with stories from band members and music industry insiders was released. “You couldn’t have asked for a better script for a bunch of guys in their 20s trying to make it into the music business. We were young, we made mistakes, we still make mistakes. It’s the story of an American band, but it’s also the story of the songs we wrote and what those songs did to people,” said Frey in a past interview.
