Doctors Kept This Woman Alive to Give Birth to Beautiful Twins

After 21-year-old Frankielen da Silva Zampoli Padilha had a stroke and was declared brain-dead, doctors kept her alive for 123 days until she was able to give birth to a set of twins. Though it was the longest a pregnant woman was kept alive, her babies’ hearts did not skip a beat. Over 20 specialists kept this woman alive for this long, and some doctors even sang to the babies while they were still in the womb. After 17 weeks, doctors were able to perform a c-section to deliver two healthy and beautiful babies. At 7 months, Asaph and Anna Vitoria were born.
