Doctors Said Her Husband Had 2-3 Years. He Woke Up After 19 Instead.

In 1998, Polish railroad worker was hit by a train that left him in a coma. The doctors first told his wife that he had 2 to 3 years to live. But, his wife had faith. After moving him so he wouldn’t have bed sores and praying at his bedside, his wife saw him awake 19 years later.

When he was interviewed by a Polish television station, railroad worker Jan Grzebski said that his wife, Gertruda, played a huge role in his survival. He said, "It was Gertruda who that saved me, and I'll never forget it." When Jan Grzebski was first hit by the train, Poland's governments was still ruled by a  communist leader, Wojciech Jaruzelski.

Years later when he woke up, Grzebski observed the different items in shops and how people were walking the streets with their phones. He said to the news station that all of it made "my head spin."
