Final thoughts

Despite the neuodegeneration felt by those who suffer from Alzheimer’s, researchers and people in the healthcare field are optimistic that one day, Alzheimer’s will be a curable disease.

The breakthrough necessary to cure Alzheimer’s may not be right around the corner (although that possibility remains), but today people with the disease have access to treatments not available in the yesteryear. It will be even better in the future.
