Has the Rate of Autism Changed in Recent Years?

The survey was conducted in person

The survey mostly asked the families to tell them more about their child. Usually, it was a parent who was answering the questions, but it could be any caregiver or relative who was directly knowledgeable about the child and his or her health conditions. One of the major questions in the survey was to ask the participating family whether any doctor or healthcare provider had ever indicated that their child had autism spectrum disorder or Asperger's.
