Having a Social Life When Managing Lupus

Opportunity for moral support

Since there might be times when an individual with lupus wants and needs to be in the company of others who understand the situation completely. A support group, in this case, would be ideal. These groups are usually facilitated by a physician who can provide more information on the management of the disease. Ideally, the number of members tend to be small in order to give opportunities for sharing ideas and stories. Plus, if a person needs to vent to some degree, the support group would be a safe place to do so.
