Don't forget to say 'thank you'
Thank your loved ones for any concerns that they might have and ask them if there is anything that you have been saying or doing that is causing them to feel worried about your wellbeing. Be open minded and acknowledge their feelings. Thank them for loving you, for being there for you, and for not giving up on you. Thank them for making you feel good about yourself in times when all you wanted to do was curl up in bed and hide. Thank them for reminding you to take your medication and for taking you to your doctor’s appointments. Thank them for allowing you to cry on their shoulder. Thank them for not getting angry when you had to cancel the plans you made together.
