Pay attention to your body and don't be afraid to ask for help
Whether you are exercising or performing chores around the house, you should always pay close attention to your body. If you start to get uncomfortably warm or you start to feel faint, take a break and allow yourself some time to cool down. If you become overheated and you cannot get to a cool place on your own, do not hesitate to ask for help because your temporary symptoms can affect your mobility. “If you know that you become a danger to yourself because you’re having trouble walking, it’s really important to watch out for your safety and get someplace where you can cool off. If you need help, ask for assistance,” said Lisa Emrich, a musician, music instructor, and patient with MS.
