Antipsychotic drugs are very beneficial in attempting to control schizophrenia symptoms, but they are not yet able to rid a patient of the disorder plaguing them. Progressing research shows the amount of damage that schizophrenia does to the brain, but, unfortunately, researchers have not gotten much closer to finding answers or solutions that could alleviate or stop this damage.
