The magic of the Mediterranean diet
Once the sugar addiction was under control; Carey embraced a Mediterranean type diet. Mediterranean diets are notoriously healthy and delicious. They typically include the following:
- Olive and coconut oil
- Lots of brightly colored veggies like sweet potatoes and spinach
- Protein in the shape of chicken breast, salmon, lentils, black beans and mixed nuts
Carey also added a few extras into his diet that help him with his journey and these included, metabolism boosters, cinnamon, and organic apple cider vinegar.
