How This Drug Could Become the Standard for Mantle Cell Lymphoma

Side effects: Infusion reactions

When the drug is first infused into the patient's bloodstream, there may be some negative reactions within 24 hours of infusion. This can be anything from hives, rashing, itching, facial or oral swelling, sudden cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, weakness, dizziness, feeling faint, racing heart, or chest pain. The reaction could be only one of those symptoms or a combination of many. Thankfully, doctors should be present for these reactions and will be able to handle any negative symptoms.
