How to Tell if Someone Has Lupus
Painful Swollen Joints
Having inflammation can be painful. There would be stiffness and visible swelling, especially in the morning. It can start as a mild inflammation, but later with time, it becomes more obvious. All symptoms of lupus come and go, and joint problems isn’t an exception. Lupus patients should see a doctor when over-the-counter medications don't help. Perhaps there are other better treatment options. Sometimes joint problems are caused by other conditions such as arthritis, and a doctor should determine if other conditions cause the joint problems or not.
