Susan Eberlein explains, “I have my good days and bad, but I still make each one better than before.” Renee Walls of Plainview, Texas became involved with the Lupus Foundation of America and made wonderful friends. Mary Cyr Dacus has been a lupus warrior for 22 years. Brenda Thomas said it best: “I learned to live with my limitations, and I found peace I had never experienced. I don't have to be strong for anyone or anything. I guess you could say I finally found myself after I was diagnosed.”
